- 2010 Korean Government Scholarship Program for Graduate Students
 Qualifications
- Both applicant and his/her parents must be citizens of the foreign country.
* Applicants cannot have Korean citizenship. - Applicants should be in good health, both mentally and physically, to stay in Korea for a long period of time.
- Should be under 40 years of age as of September 1, 2010
- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree as of September 1, 2010
* Applicants who are enrolling or have already enrolled in the same academic program in Korea as the one they are applying for will not be admitted. * For Master’s program (or Integrated Master’s & Doctoral program): students who hold a Bachelor’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Bachelor’s degree * For Doctoral program: students who hold a Master’s degree or a diploma that is equivalent to or higher than Master’s degree. * Applicants who are expecting the adequate diploma should present their diploma by September 1, 2010 before entry. - Should have a grade point average (G.P.A.) at least 2.64 on a 4.0 scale, 2.80 on a 4. 3 scale, 2.91 on a 4.5 scale or grades/marks/score of 80% or higher from the previous attended institution
* If the grade is difficult to convert to percentage, official explanatory documents from the attended university are required. - Apply following 61 Universities (or Institutes) designated by NIIED

- NYC Next Idea 2010 Competition
 Overview: The NYC Next Idea 2010: Global Business Concept Competition (the “Competition”) is a business concept competition that showcases the best international talent from colleges and universities around the world while developing innovative business ventures that can launch and operate in New York City (“NYC”). Administered by New York City Economic Development Corporation (“NYCEDC”) the Competition seeks to raise the visibility of NYC as an international platform for innovation and entrepreneurship. With participating universities from around the world, including, Asia, Latin America and Europe and an exciting opportunity to visit NYC and network with investors, the Competition offers participants a challenging task of developing a business venture in one of the most vibrant and diverse cities in the world.
Key Date:
- October 1, 2010: Registration deadline
- October 15-22, 2010: Question & Answer period
- November 15, 2010: Executive Summaries (Round I) due
- December 1, 2010: Announcement of semi-finalists
- January 4, 2011: Business Plans (Round II) due
- January 18, 2011: Announcement of finalists
- April 4-9, 2011: Final presentations in NYC; announcement of winning teams

- 2010 Summer Short-term Leadership Program at California State University, Fullerton
Schedule: July 10 - August 6, 2010 (4 weeks) (Download detailed schedule)
Program Fees: US $3,732 per student includes:
- Use of library and other facilities on the campus, such as the Titan Student Union.
- Transportation for field trips
- Lodging: double occupancy three-star hotel room (including gratuities). For single occupancy, an extra charge will apply.
- Meals: breakfasts, welcome dinner and farewell dinner
- International Student Services fee and Health Insurance
