Professor Tzyh-Jong Tarn, an outstanding alumnus of the Department of Chemical Engineering in 1959, with a M.S. degree from Stevens Institute of Technology in 1965 and a D.Sc. degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1968, is coming back to NCKU as a Visiting Chair and Distinguished Professor in the National Center for Theoretical Sciences (South). …

2010 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of Republic of China (ROC) held at National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)

With a record 2,100 participants, the 2010 Annual Meeting of the Physical Society of ROC in Tainan was held from February 2nd to 4th in the International Conference Hall at NCKU.
