- seminar: A Cross-Nation Investigation of Women – Organized by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature
The capital globalization in the recent 30 years has brought about the capital flow around the world as well as the circulation of culture, information and laborers across boundaries. In addition, under the impact of the post colonialism, the scattering and cross-border phenomenon, multiculturalism and globalization, feminism is facing more challenges. Feminism is thus being constantly revised. This seminar will be conducted to probe deeply into the studies on international women under the trend of globalization from the international perspective. More discussions on the multiculturalism and feminism will be held. The seminar plans to read the essays about international feminism, decolonization, and the relationships between women of different cultural backgrounds, countries and places.
